1 in 6 couples will experience some difficulty in having a baby. 

If you have been having regular unprotected sex for one year with no pregnancy, it is time to seek see your doctor.

At your first consultation we will take a full medical history and organise preliminary investigations.

These will include blood tests at different times of your cycle and perhaps a pelvic examination. This may lead on to a pelvic ultrasound scan. We will also arrange for your partner to have a semen analysis.

The results of these tests will determine the next step and may include a referral to a specialist hospital clinic.
