Dr. Barbara Byrne
Dr Barbara Byrne completed a BA psychology in UCD coming first in her class in social psychology. She undertook a BA thesis to assess how children understand illness and this underpinned her motivations to become a doctor.
She qualified from UCD in 2006. Following that she worked as a house officer in the national spinal injuries unit, hepatology, nephrology , infectious diseases in the mater hospital. She qualified from the midlands gp training scheme in 2013 . Dr Byrne regularly attends meetings on the menopause and contraception. She is an experienced mirena coil inserter.

At 232 Medical, Dr. Castell will initially offer Wednesday clinics providing a range of services, including general practice consultations.
