Dr. Byrne offers a full range of services for patients of all ages. We work in accordance with the regulations laid down by the Medical Council and the standards recommended by the Irish College of General Practitioners.

We aim to provide the highest quality care in the following areas:

  • Educating patients in regard to their health

Dr. Barbara Byrne

 

Dr Barbara Byrne completed a BA psychology in UCD coming first in her class in social psychology. She undertook a BA thesis to assess how children understand illness and this underpinned her motivations to become a doctor.

She qualified from UCD in 2006. Following that she worked as a house officer in the national spinal injuries unit, hepatology, nephrology , infectious diseases in the mater hospital. She qualified from the midlands gp training scheme in 2013 . Dr Byrne regularly attends meetings on the menopause and contraception. She is an experienced mirena coil inserter.

Dr. Rory Lavelle

Dr. Rory Lavelle is joining 232 Medical for clinics on Wednesdays from January 2024.
